Ethel "Bernice" Morris, of St. George, widow of John Samuel Morris, died January 17, 2011, in Walterboro.

Born September 23, 1934, in Andrews, SC, she was a daughter of the late Otis Ackerman and Sadie McCants Ackerman.

Mrs. Morris was a homemaker, and an active member of Faith Holiness Ministries in Ravenel.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Evans of Summerville, Cheryl (Ray) Lytle of Summerville, and Wanda (Allen) Krantz of St. George; seven grandchildren, Tonya, Angela (Star), Rusty, Joshua, Samantha, Riley and Brandy; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sammy Ackerman of Ravenel, and Louie Ackerman of Oakdale, CA.

Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by infant son James Samuel Morris, daughter Donna Kay Daniels, and grandchild Trevor Evans.

Entombment: Summerville Cemetery Mausoleum.
