Funeral service for Grady H. Cearley, 97, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Calvary Baptist Church.

Grady H. Cearley was born February 28, 1913 in Paris, Texas the son of Willie R. and Ollie (Holt) Cearley. He died January 9, 2011.

Grady and Mamie Seay were married in 1931. She died October of 1994. He later married Floy Mae Chaney June of 1995. Grady worked for American National Insurance Company for 43 years.

Grady served in the U.S. Army as a Chaplain's Assistant. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Lion's Club for 40 years and had served as president.

He was also preceded in death by: Parents, 1 daughter: Patricia Banks, Grandsons: Bryan Banks, Billy, Pat and William Grady, Brother: Clarence Cearley, and Grandson-in-law: Jim Hawkins.

Survivors include: Wife: Floy Mae Cearley of the home, Granddaughters: Tami D. Hawkins of Katy, TX, Teri D. Fishback and husband, Carl, of Coldspring, TX, Great grandsons: J.C. Fishback, Bryan Fishback, and Joseph Henry Fishback, Stepdaughters: Dorothy Dees of Chickasha, OK, Sherry Stamper and husband, Jim, of Chickasha, OK, Venita Morton and husband, Paul, of Blanchard, OK.

Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Paris, Texas, at 1p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
