Country music figure, musician, brother to legendary fiddler "Howdy" Forrester. Joe worked for WVOO Radio in Tulsa, Oklahoma and with Harold Goodman on the Grand Ole Opry in his early musical career. During his career, Joe also worked for awhile with Bluegrass legend and Icon Bill Monroe, Gene Autry, Art Davis, and Georgia Slim Rutland's "Texas Round-up" on KRLD in Dallas, Texas. He was also a lifetime member of the Nashville, Tennessee Association of Musicians Local #257. Joe Webb Forrester passed away on January 16, 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 91.
