In 1860, Sarah, a widow, was living at Rochester in Butler County. At
her dwelling were George W. Lacy, age 26, Sarah Lacy, age 19, John
Lacy, age 13 (all born in Ky.), and James Morrison, a blacksmith, age
40, born in Pennsylvania.

On April 11, 1859, Sarah B. Bowling was appointed Administratrix for the estate of Joseph Bowling, (Butler County Order Book F, pp134-426 and 429).
On May 27 1868, F. M. Wood was appointed administrator for the estate of Sarah
(Hope) Bolen/Bowling, deceased (MCKY book 2 p457). There were 7 heirs, but the only ones listed were Jordan Bolen, J. M. Bolen, Martha J. Bolen and John T. Long.
