Kenneth D. Herbel, 63, died Feb. 6 at his home in Omaha. He was born on April 7, 1937, in Russell County, the son of Henry and Hulda Dick Herbel. A resident of Omaha, Neb., he was a laborer. Herbel was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include one brother, and two sisters. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilson City Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Wagner officiating.
