Alfred Hay and Mrs. George Ball Succumb to Lung Trouble Yesterday - One at Home and Other as Sanatorium.

Alfred Hay, a prominent Yorkville resident, died yesterday at the Sunny Rest Sanatorium, of lung trouble.
Mrs. George Ball, his sister, passed away at her home in Union Grove, at 4:30 yesterday afternoon, of the same disease.
The double death of sister and brother so close together, has caused great sorrow in the towns of Raymond and Yorkville, where they resided all of their lives.
The time of the funeral had not been decided upon today, but will be announced later.
Alfred Hay was born in the town of Raymond May 24, 1868. For a number of years he has traveled on the great lakes for his health and for the past year he was engineer at the Hymera Mines, in the state of Indiana. In Raymond and Yorkville where he resided the largest part of his life he was widely known. He was single. The body was taken from the Sunny Rest Sanatorium to the undertaking parlors of George Rohde at Union Grove.
Mrs. George Ball, sister of Mr. Hay, survived him a few hours. She was born in Raymond in 1858, and resided there until she was married to Mr. Ball, and then became a resident of Yorkville. She was a woman prominent in church and other circles and very highly esteemed. She was a member of the Yorkville M.E. Church.
Besides her husband three sons survive, Walton of California; Alfred and Earl of Yorkville.
The surviving sisters and brothers are Mrs. Margaret Foxwell, Racine; Thomas Hay, Racine; Henry Hay, Yorkville; and Mrs. Martha Gooder of Kansas.
