Oakley Ave West Lowe, Chicago. Emil and Augusta had three children Gladys, Ralph and Roy. Emil died when he was 40 years old in 1911 and her son, Roy, died in 1918 when he was 11 years old. At some point she started to be known as Alice. In 1920, Augusta second married John H. Clark. In 1930 and 1940 they lived in Lake Co., Newport Twp, IL. Her son, Ralph, bought them a farm in Libertyville, IL.
