WEST WEBER - Parley LeRoy Wagstaff, 92, died Thursday, January 18, 1996 at a Bountiful Nursing Home of causes incident to age. He was born April 9, 1903 in Glendale, Idaho, a son of William Addison and Mary M. Wanner Wagstaff. He married Eliza Blanch on March 14, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 12, 1992. He was raised and educated in Idaho Moving to Ogden area in 1919. He was a member of the West Weber 2nd LDS Ward where he was a High Priest. He held many and various positions in the church. He loved horses and trained them in his youth. Mr. Wagstaff has been a dairy farmer all of his life.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Duane and Cleo Wagstaff and Brent and ReNee Wagstaff, all of West Weber; Evelyn W. Purdie, Bountiful; LeNea W. Rawson, Warren; 15 grandchildren and 25 great - grandchildren and one great - great - grandson. Also surviving is one sister, Edna Owen, Provo. He was preceded in death by one infant daughter, six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the West Weber 2nd Ward Chapel, 4100 West 900 South. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the Ward Chapel from Noon to 12:45 p.m.
Interment West Weber Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2404 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah 4401.
