Mrs. Emma H. Thorson, 84, prominent North Alabama resident, died Friday morning at the home of her son, Roy W. Thorson, at Madison.
Mrs. Thorson spent the earlier part of her life at her home at Thorsby, Alabama, before moving to Decatur where she lived for twelve years. Mrs. Thorson had been living with her son in Madison since moving from Decatur approximately ten years ago.
Prayer service will be held at the residence at two o'clock Sunday afternoon in Madison. Funeral services will be held at three o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran Church here with Rev. W.F. Schoech, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the city cemetery with Brown directing.
The deceased is survived by four sons, J.M. Thorson of Crook, South Dakota; Albert E. Thorson of Beatrice, Nebraska; Roy W. Thorson of Madison and Milton Thorson of Evansville and two sisters, Mrs. Tina and Ellen Hokason of St. Peter, Minnesota.
