Daisy Sparks, 81, of Beach Park, Ill., died Sunday, December 30, 2001, in Waukegan, Ill.

Services were Friday, January 4, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Little Brown Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Little Brown Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Spark, was born August 28, 1920, near Burnsville to the late John and Audie Belle Ross Lindgram. She retired from Walgreen's in Waukegan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bernard Sparks; an infant son, Roy B. Sparks: a granddaughter, Tomekin Blanton; and two sisters, Lorene Baldwyn and Gracie Crabb.

She is survived by three daughters, Ethel Blanton of Beach Park, Ill., Anna Mae Thomas of Desplaines. Ill., and Janie Louise Dowe and her hushand. Afred, of Savannah, Tenn., four sons, Donald Gene Sparks of Moms Chapel, Tenn., Billy Wayne Sparks and his wife, Linda, of Signal Mountain, Tenn., Troy Lee Sparks and his wife, Fay, of Hanahan, S. C., and Joseph Leon Sparks and his wife, Pat, of Zion, Ill.; one sister, Mildred Fay Power of Conroe, Texas; two brothers, Johnny Ray Lindgram and his wife, Helen, of Conroe Texas, and James Edward Lingram and his wife, Eunice, of Kountz, Texas; a step-brother, Johnny Lindgram: 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, 4705 Golf Road, Suite 1015, Skokie, IL, 60076.
