Doris Lane Baucum, 84, of Clute, Texas, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 18, 2006.

Doris was born on October 26, 1921, in Ringgold, Louisiana, to the late Oscar Fulton Baucum and Zeffa Alice Baucum.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, O E " Dick " Masters; her parents; sister, Ovelle Hickerson; sister, Vermelle Shelby; sister, Alice James; and sister, Bessie Shelby.

She is survived by her daughter, Zeffa Ann Parrish and husband, Don of Brazoria; son, Tommy Masters and wife, Bobbie of Lake Jackson; brother, Harold Baucum of Rusk; granddaughter, Devri Brown and husband, Wayne of Deer Park; grandson, Devin Parrish of Houston; grandson, Tommy Masters and wife, Jenna of Lake Jackson; granddaughter, Samantha Fusch and husband, Tim of Lake Jackson; 9 great grandchildren: Ricky Brown, Ryan Brown; Domani Brown; Kya Fusch; Loyrn Fusch; Karl " Bubba " Fusch; Jake Masters; Jaret Masters; Camryn Fusch and nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Brown; Devi Parrish; Tim Fusch; Tommy Masters Jr; Ricky Brown and Ryan Brown.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, while the funeral service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Texas.
