She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Yucca Valley Chapter; a part president of the American Legion Auxiliary; past Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls; and member of the Grand Cross of Color of Rainbow Girls.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Asmus of Vacaville; a daughter of Vacaville; a son of Aptos CA; a step-daughter of NE; a step-son of Westwood CA; her mother, Mabel Asmus of West Covina CA; two sisters, Florence Brunson, Pasadena CA, Melvina Carlutu, San Diego CA; a brother, Carl Asmus, Temple City CA; seven grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four step-great-grandchildren.
