CORA MARGLON
EL CERRITO - Funeral services for Cora Marglon, a longtime resident of the west Contra Costa County area, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset View Mortuary.
A native of Vernal, Utah, Mrs. Marglon died Thursday at the ate of 91. She was the widow of Claude Marglon Sr. who operateda barber ship in Albany for 35 years. The couple lived in El Cerrito for 35 years, then moved to Port Costa in 1960.
Mrs. Marglon was a member of the Vernal Ward of the Church of Latter Day Saints and a longtime member of teh El Cerito Senior Citiens. She had been active in the affairs of Port Costa prior to her death.
She is survived by three daughters, Fay Knapp of Richmond, Lea Jean Marglon of Oakley and Grace Johnson of San Diego; two sons, Claude Marglon Jr. of Port Costa and Earl F. Marglon of San Pable; sher sister Eva Hatch of Vernal; 15 grandchilden and 26 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Sunset View Cemetery.
