Jackie's parents, Carol and Leonard Hinett said, "Jackie would have done anything for anybody.She was a lovely daughter, wife and sister who brought light to a room whenever she walked in. We have lost our baby, that Jayden needed be with her, and not on his own."
The 89-year-old driver of the car, Ernest Wray, a retired accountant of Carlisle Road, also died in the incident.
A double funeral for Jackie and Jayden will take place at 11am on Friday at St James' Church, Cannon Street, Accrington. A private family service will be held at Accrington Crematorium afterwards. Family and friends will then be gathering at the Poplar Club, Wellington Street. The family have requested that any donations should be made to the NSPCC via the funeral arrangers, Kirby & Hughes of Accrington, following Jackie's love for children.
