HOWARD- Mary Agnes (Blubaugh) Hunt Baker, 89, a resident of the Ohio Eastern Star Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon, and formerly of East St., died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Care Center.

She was born March 5, 1921 in Knox Co. to the late Francis & Agnes Blubaugh. She was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville, and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing, and more recently enjoyed playing cards and gardening.

She is survived by two sons; John (Candy) Hunt of Howard, and Charles (Sharon) Hunt of Bladensburg, two daughters; Sarah Thompson, a resident of the Ohio Eastern Star Home, and Patricia (Mik) Dudevszky of Mt. Vernon, two step-children; Connie (Carl) Biggs of Fredericktown, and Thomas (Karen) Baker of Columbus, ten grandchildren; Joshua Hunt, Doug Hunt, Carrie (Jeff) Cottrell, Kelly (Kyle) Bonner, Max Dudevszky, Eric (Amy) Biggs, Nikki Biggs, Bryan Baker, Brad (Anne) Baker, and Shelby Baker, nine great-grandchildren; Quentin, Sasha, Chase, & Desiree Cottrell, Cody Hunt, Brock & Bryson Bonner, and Marshall & Arianna Baker, two sisters; Phyllis Arnold of Mt. Vernon, and Ruth Ann Carlo of Mt. Vernon, a brother, Glenn (Genny) Blubaugh of Mt. Vernon, and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands; William Jack Hunt in 1965, and Doyal L. Baker in 2007, two sisters; Ethel Blubaugh & Loretta Durbin, and two brothers-in-law; Ed Arnold and Dominic Carlo.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 at the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville, with Father F. Richard Snoke officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
