After the death of her husband John, in Rockville, Indiana, on Oct 1836, she resided in Washington County and died in 1850 at the home of her son William at Beech Grove, Indiana. They had the following children: Nancy Gladsen, Martha Ann, George Franklin, William Andrew Jackson, Margaret Jane, Elizabeth Elvira, and Julia Etta.
