Appointed sergeant from corporal, Jan. 13, 1863; reduced to ranks, Sept. 1, 1864. Admitted to the United States General (Army) Hospital at Cleveland, OH, March 3, 1865 from the Camp Dennison (OH) U.S. General Hospital(Army). Discharged on Surgeon's Certificate of Disability at Cleveland, OH, March 27, 1865.
