Andrea Michele Maudlin, 59, died August 30th. The daughter of Al and Terri Hartman, she was born November 4, 1947 in Camp Lejeune, N.C. A county resident for 50 years, she attended San Diego State and was married 33 years to Charles "Ed" Maudlin. Andrea was a VIP (volunteer in policing) in Mira Mesa. She enjoyed cooking, yoga, discussing politics, travel, taking Oasis classes with Ed and their Dalmations Lady, Bandit, Baylynn and Wisper. Andrea's survivors include Ed, children Pamela (John) Noenickx, of Laguna Hills; Lawrence (Jacki) Maudlin of Ventura; grandsons John and Matthew Noenickx, Brock and Derrick Maudlin, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy (Maudlin) and Edward Swain of San Diego. Private ceremony with ashes scattered at sea. Donations may be made to Guide Dogs of America, 13445 Glenoaks Blvd., Sylmar, CA 91342.
