Raymond A. Caro, 24, of 1843 E. Street, died Monday in a veterans Hospital in Martinez, Calif.

He served with the Air Force for three years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estella Caro, a daughter, Sarah Lee Caro, both of Brownsville; his parents, Joe E. Caro of Brownsville and Mrs. Celina Arizmendi of Pasadena, Tex.; a brother, Ruben M. Caro of Pensacola, Fla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Robles of Brownsville, Mrs. Robert Donnelly of Oklahoma and Mrs. Gloria Caro Aguirre of Uvalde.

A rosary will be said today at 8 pm at Garza Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment at City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pete Robles, Pedro Lopez, John Bethea, Ruben M. Caro, Kenneth Martinez and Adan Hernandez.

Garza Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
