Grace was the daughter of Louis and Hattie (MacSwain) Wilk. She had two sisters, Ruth Wilk Brown born in 1910 and Jane Elizabeth Wilk born in 1916 and one brother William F. Wilk born in 1907. She married Ralph Bloom on 28 JUN 1926. They had two sons, Ralph Lewis "Chuck" in 1927-1993 and Robert William in 1928-2001 and a daughter Barbara Jane in 1931-1993. Ralph and Grace moved to Michigan from IL. In 1952 they moved back to Chicago where Ralph worked for the Ontonagon Copper Mine as a bookkeeper. They lived in Ft Lauderdale, FL where their daughter, Barbara, graduated from high school. Ralph later opened a carpet store in Kalamazoo, MI.
