William Shea Dies Suddenly
Retired Navy Yard Worker Found Dead in Bed at His Home
William J. Shea, 64, retired Navy Yard employee, died suddenly yesterday morning at his home, 123 Randolph Street. He was found dead in bed shortly after 8 o'clock by his brother, John T. Shea, with whom he resided.
Dr. E. T. Glover, city coroner, viewed the body and attributed death due to natural causes. He gave permission for the removal of the body to the Richardson & Foster Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shea was the son of the late Dennis Shea and Mrs. Cora O'Connnell Shea, and was a native and lifelong resident of this city.
He is survived by three brothers, John T. Shea, Michael Shea and Dennis Shea, all of this city.
The deceased held membership in St. Paul's Catholic Church and was widely known throughout the city.
The body will remain at the Richardson & Foster Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at St. Paul's Catholic Church, with Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock at the funeral home.
