A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette, Louisiana for Bertha Credeur Gerstenberger, 84, who died February 18, 2010 in Pasadena, TX.
David Rousse will officiate.
Born in Carencro, Louisiana on December 5, 1925, Bertha moved to Houston while in her teens where she later met and married Alfred Max Gerstenberger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Augustine Kilchrist and Jean Credeur, her sisters Anna Lou Landry, Rita Dartez, and Rose Mae Trahan, and brother Easton Credeur.
Mrs. Gerstenberger is survived by daughter Barbara Cutsinger of Pasadena, TX, son Michael Gerstenberger and wife Chris of Pearland, TX, granddaughter Tracy Eggers and husband Frank, grandson James Cutsinger, great-grandchildren Chad, Nicole and Casey Eggers and Baylee Cutsinger, sisters Evelyn Babineaux, Blanche Tate, Marie Begnaud and husband Norman, and Linda Brasseaux, brothers Preston Credeur, Johnny Credeur and wife Gladys and numerous great nieces and nephews.
