Nancy is the daughter of James Miller, Jr. (1780-1827) & Adenia Dolba Mayson Miller Hooper (1792-1846).

She married Caleb Garrison Gillespie on February 16, 1842, in Franklin County, Georgia. Prior to this marriage, some data indicate she was married to a "Henry Phillips/Philips," but I have not found any confirmation.
