CARONE, Alice (86), passed peacefully at her home in Alhambra on December 15, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was born June 3, 1924 in Los Angeles, where she lived most of her life. After finishing school, she was employed at Lockheed Aircraft. During the early years of WWII, she became secretary to the president of the company. In 1942 she married the love of her life, our beloved father, Pete Carone. They were married for 65 years until his death in 2007. After raising her five sons, she worked as an office manager at the Escalon School in Altadena. She is survived by her sons and their wives: Richard and Kristen, Tony and Marijke, Robert and Julie, Steve and Mary, and son, Chris. She was the loving Grandmother of Tommy, Annie, Robbie, Celina, Janene, Kevin, Holly, Jessica, Pamela, Victoria, Marcus, Ricky, Brandon, Peter, and Jenny. Her family was everything to her, and we will always remember her loving, supportive manner, grace, and cheerful demeanor. Her warmth and quiet wisdom were apparent to all who met her. She will be laid to rest with our beloved father on their wedding anniversary. She is forever in our hearts.
Memorial Service is January 9, 2011 at Cabot and Sons, Pasadena. Mass is at St Therese on January 10, 2011 in Alhambra at 10:30.
