Ms. Lucille Laminack Bentley passed away February 3, 2018, just 5 days after her 90th birthday.

She was born on January 29, 1928 in Muscadine, Alabama to the late Effie and Jessie Laminack.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bentley; a sister and brother-in-law, Verna Lee and Bill Deese; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gerald (Shirley) Laminack and Harold Laminack; a brother-in-law, Bill Bentley; and a son, Byron Bentley.

She was a graduate of Tallapoosa High School. She worked at Sewell Manufacturing, Southern Can Company, and retired from Stoffell Seals. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church of Muscadine, and attended Beulah Baptist. She loved and enjoyed homemaking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Wanda Bentley; a daughter-in-law Naomi Dobbs; two sister-in-laws, Shirley Laminack and Imogene Bentley; five grandchildren, Bryan Bentley, Brandon Bentley, Shae and Davette Bentley, and Cody Bentley; eight great grandchildren: Madison and Brooke Bentley, Skylar Bentley, Christian Bentley, Caelyn and Blakelyn Bentley, Corynn and Brendan Harris; and various nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Naomi Dobbs, Pauline Parsons, Kayla Chandler, and Virginia Johnson for the love and care they provided.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 3:00 PM from Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Ledbetter and Rev. Billy Brown officiating. Music will be provided by Wanda Bentley and Harold McWhorter.

Pallbearers serving will be Ronnie Deese, Johnny Sheffield, Keith Sheffield, Brandon Bentley, Shae Bentley and Spencer Sheffield.

Interment will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Home, February 4th, between the hours of 12:00 and 2:30 PM.
