Mrs. Carr was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard and cooking for her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Diboll and was very active in her church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Joyce Carr of Lufkin and Ray and Linda Carr of Port Neches; grandchildren, Ray and Cathie Carr, Cathy and Ralph Isham, Evelyn and Mark Walker, Deborah and Gene Cox, Steven Carr, Megan and Samuel Byrd and Sarah Carr; 19 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Carr; brother, Aubry "Bud" Burk; and sister, Eula Burk.

Services for Mrs. Carr will be held in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
