Funeral service for Robert Mothershed, 75, of Nacogdoches, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Laird-McGill Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Smith and the Rev. Sonny Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery. Mothershed died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, in Nacogdoches. Born Sept. 26, 1929, in Paragould, Ark., he was the son of Annie Whitton and Cliff Mothershed. He was employed by Lone Star Feed as a mill operator. He was a Baptist. Survivors include wife Dena Ruth Mothershed of Nacogdoches; daughters, Debbie Moore of Nacogdoches, Stella Pitts of Fort Hood and Diane Molider of Appleby; brother, Luther Mothershed of Granite City, Illinois; sister, Wanda White of Quinlan, Mo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorials donations may be made to Hospice of Deep East Texas 907 Mound St., Nacogdoches, Texas 75961. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday. Laird-McGill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
