Benjamin F. Vorpahl, 40, of 831 Pecan St., died Monday in a local convalescent home.
Mr. Vorpahl was a lifelong resident of Guadalupe County.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Goetz Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Robert W. Kuykendall of Seguin Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in Post Oak Cemetery.
Mr. Vorpahl is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fidella Vorpahl of Seguin; one son, Earnest Vorpahl of Seguin; on daughter, Miss Kathryn Vorpahl of Seguin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Vorpahl of Seguin and by one brohter, Danial Vorpahl of Austin.
Pallbearers were Don Culwell, Walter neumann, heodore Jahns, Jarrell Ullrich, Adrain Jurutowicz and Clive Maddox.
