Mrs. Nick Aalbers, 85, Alton, died Nov. 18 at a nursing home in Orange City. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Alton Reformed Church with the Rev. Clarence Greving officiating. Burial will be in Nassau Township Cemetery at Alton under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home, Orange City.
Mrs. Aalbers, the former Johanna Buurman, was born Feb. 14, 1888 at Orange City. She was married Feb. 22, 1911 at Orange City. The family farmed in the Alton area until moving to town in 1947.
Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Miss Diana Aalbers at home; two sons, Egbert J. "Bud" of Alton and Marion of Latimer; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother John of Orange City.
