Death: March 19, 1954
Ray Bush, 55, who had been associated with the roofing business in Alma for more than 30 years, died, March 19, Friday morning at the home, 1411 Michigan avenue. His death was due to a heart attack.
Mr. Bush was born in Owosso and came to Alma from Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of First Presbyterian church.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Wright funeral home. Dr. Ross Miller of Alma College officiated and burial was in Riverside cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Anna; two sons, Donald and Norman, both of Alma, and both of whom worked with their father in Bush's Roofing Company. He is survived by the mother, Mrs. Mary Bush of Owosso; four brothers, Floyd of Mt. Pleasant; Lyle of Traverse City; Richard of Owosso and Harold, of Spring Lake, and six sisters, Mrs. Florence Percival, Mrs. Edith Simpson and Miss Geraldine Bush, all of Detroit; Mrs. Beatrice Scriba, of Owosso, Mrs. Dorothy Flore, of Midland, and Mrs. Viola Murphy, of Shepherd. He is survived by five grandchildren.
