"Anthony Beeker, 79 years old, died Sunday evening at his home in Kochville Township. He was born April 21, 1844, in Germany and came with his parents to Rochester N.N (?) in 1848. A year later the family moved to a farm near Detroit. In 1860, Mr. Beeker came to Kochville Township and was married here in 1863 to Miss Mary Gerber. She died in 1868 and in 1870 he married Miss Barbara Gerber who survives him. He also leaves five children: Mrs. Edward Marta, Edward and Charles Beeker of Kochville Township, Mrs. Theodore Hey of Bay City, and Theodore Beeker of Saginaw. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the family home and at 2 o'clock from the Kochville M.E. church shich he was a member of. Rev. Clarence Ellinger will officiate, with burial in Kochville Cemetery."
