MT. PLEASANT - A graveside service for Jane Mayfield Edwards, 80, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Columbia. She will be buried next to her oldest daughter, Diane Mayfield Speight. McAlister-Smith Funeral Home is in charge.
Ms. Edwards died July 30, 2002 in East Cooper Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Sybil and Albert Albea. She had moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1998 to be with her son.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Antoinette and Warren Tucker; son, Oliver Mayfield; eight grandchildren.
