SOPHIA - Herbert Hoover Haithcox, 73, passed Aug. 6th at Randolph Hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Aug. 8th at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, with Pastor Thomas Todd and Howard Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany United Methodist Church cemetery in Liberty. Surviving are wife, Barbara English Garner Haithcox of the home; daughter, Nancy Winebarger of Lexington; sons, Jerry Haithcox of Welcome, Terry Haithcox of Asheboro; stepsons, Kelly Garner of Denton, Ricky Garner of Thomasville; brother, Ben Haithcox of Seagrove; half brother, Arlie Rash of Clemmons; sisters, Jean Ingold of Rutherfordton, Annie May Frazier of Bear Creek; eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren.-Pugh
