Obituary:
DAVIDSON -- JOHN Clint "SLIM" Age 96, a resident of Albuquerque
since 1929, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 26,
2012. He is survived by his children, Evelyn Elizabeth Sandon; Judy
Marie McCutchen and husband, Gary, Carlton Davidson; and Clint Allen Davidson and wife, Darla; brothers, Jay Davidson and wife, Ruth and Dave Davidson and wife, Joan; sister, Ima Jean Seck;13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo Marie (Boot) Davidson and his daughter, Duma Luevaney Sims. Slim served in the US Army during World II.
Chief Davidson retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department
after 42 years of service. John was active with the Albuquerque Fire
Department Retiree's Association. A service will be held on Thursday, March 1st at 2:00 pm at French-University Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
Friends may visit French - University Chapel on Wednesday,
February 29th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Should friends desire,
memorial contributions may be made to the Albuquerque Fire Department Retiree's Association, 5318 La Colonia Dr. NW,
Albuquerque, NM 87120.
