Services Today For Crash Victims
Services for four members of the Drake family killed in a plane crash near Conchas Lake airport Saturday night will be held at 10:30 AM today at the First Baptist Church.
Killed in the crash were Cedric P. Drake, Jr., 39 pilot of the plane;his sister Donna S. "Susie" Drake, 20 a student at Hardin-Simmons University; his brother, Richard P. Drake 23, of Albuquerque; and another brother, Air Force Capt. Leo M. Drake, 37 of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Survivors include their father, Cedric P. Drake of Los Lunas, and a brother, Thomas E. Drake of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Cedric Drake, and Albuquerque resident for 37 years is also survived by his wife, Roberta and two daughters, Charlene and Rhonda Drake, both of Albuquerque.
Surviving Leo Drake, a member of College Park Baptist Church in Las Vegas are his wife, Linda, a daughter, Lynn Drake; and a son, Scott M. Drake, all of Las Vegas.
Richard Drake was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park with French Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
