O. H. SARRATT DIES AT BLACKSBURG HOME
Retired Farmer Succumbs Sunday; Funeral Arrangements Not Made.
O. H. Sarratt, 74, brother of R. C. and M. A. Sarratt of Gaffney, died early Sunday night at his home at Blacksburg.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed yesterday, decision regarding the details being held up pending the arrival at Blacksburg of a daughter from Missouri.
Mr. Sarratt attended the Limestone Springs school here in his youth and later settled in York county on Bullock's Creek as a farmer. He moved to Blacksburg a few years ago.
He married Miss Sarah Goode, who survives him with two sons and five daughters. Other surviving relatives in addition to the brothers living here include another brother, L. L. Sarratt of Charlotte, and sister, Mrs. Alie Hamrick, Boiling Springs, N. C.
