The following information was provided by ANKnudson 9 Oct 2020:
Caroline Whiting Grover Heath born 19 Jan 1837 Missouri and died 19 June 1930 Washington, is shown on Findagrave.com with a picture of her headstone which shows she was "The last survivor of the Brigham Young Expedition to Salt Lake City." Her husband John Republican Heath died and was buried in the Ririe-Shelton Idaho Cemetery 20 Feb 1900, where there is also a headstone for Carolyn W Heath 1837-1900. This headstone was placed in error and should not be there and will soon be removed.

The sextant of the Shelton-Ririe Cemetery, Blair Moncur, did some research on this incorrect headstone information and returned the following: When the record in the old leather cemetery log book was kept, someone assumed that since John R Heath was buried in a plot owned by John Heath, that his wife would be there also. The original record in the book has a note indicating "Caroline is buried here somewhere." And from that book, a map of burials was created which has her name shown in a plot near her husband. Later, the cemetery tried to identify all the unmarked graves and had temporary metal headstones set on each of them. The family members were notified and told they could replace the temporary headstones with nicer ones if they would like. Years later, an Eagle Scout project was approved to cement in all the temporary headstones that were not replaced. This is when the temporary headstone for "Carolyn W Grover" was cemented in. That burial information was included in the digital image collection of the Idaho Falls Regional Family History Center, and was used as part of their Idaho, Southeast Counties Obituaries, 1864-2007. Mr. Moncur has determined, after reviewing the records, that Caroline is not buried in this cemetery and is having this headstone removed.

Mr. James Storms of the Garfield Cemetery, Washington (also known as the Whitman County Cemetery), has verified that Caroline Whiting Grover Heath is buried there and that the Findagrave.com record showing her death as 19 June 1930 is correct.
