Mrs. R.A. Kirk died at her home on East Line Street on June 17, 1906. She was 67. Mrs. Kirk had been a resident of Tyler for many years and conducted a boarding house in the city. She was survived by her husband and seven children. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. (her obituary was published in the Tyler Daily Courier on June 18th and 19th, 1906)
