Tecumseh, Neb., Sept. 18; The funeral of Mrs. Charlotte Corbin, wife of
Hon. O. A. Corbin of Maple Grove precinct, this county, was held from
the Methodist church in Tecumseh this afternoon at 2 o’clock. It was
conducted by Rev. Richard Pearson, pastor of the church. Mrs. Corbin
died Tuesday last following an operation for malignant tumor. The lady
was aged sixty five years.
Besides the husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. P. J.
Turner of Vesta, Mrs. V. D. Douglas of Crab Orchard and Mrs. George
Harrah of San Bernardino, Cal.
Mrs. Corbin was a prominent church worker and club woman of this
section, was a woman of more than ordinary mental ability, and had many
friends. She was a pioneer settler.
