Mr. Treaster was employed at Ryan Aeronautical in San Diego, California as a master drill machinist for 38 years until his retirement.
Mr. Treaster was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice; a granddaughter, Beverly Treaster; a sister, Opal Jones; and three brothers, Glenn Treaster, Everett Treaster and Harold Treaster.

Mr Treaster was not raised by his father after his mother passed. He was raised by his Uncle Ed Treaster and Aunt Kate Treaster. They were never allowed to adopt him.
