Coldwater - Mrs. Alvina Birt, 65, Rt. 1, died 4:15 a.m. Saturday at Community Hospital, following a long illness. Born December 1, 1906, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of Theodore and Anna Ungruhn Krempelbeck. She married Russell Bir t on January 23, 1925, and he died September 2, 1969. Surviving are two sons, James of Rt. 1 and Robert of Rt. 1, St. Henry; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Myra) Weddle of Rt. 3, Rockford; 12 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was a membe r of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its altar Rosary Society. Mass will be offered 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church by Rev. James Smith, with burial in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home from noon until 9 p.m . Monday.
