Lucy was born in the Indian Territory ,later claimed by Tennessee. Wife of Judge Joseph Martin Hildebrand, Cherokee. Parents of Reese Hildebrand; Josephine (Meeker); and Matilda A.(Smitman)(Cordery)(Madden). Dau. of Thomas & Nancy [Foreman] Starr.∼Lucy was my Great Great Grandmother. When she died, she was married to George (Johann) Weigand. She is burried at Greenleaf, but her headstone name is Lucy Weigand, Jan 1 1831, 28 Nov 1910, there is a picture on find a grave.
She was Lucy Starr Hildebrand Crittenden Weigand, in addition to Josephine, Reese & Matilda Alice Hildebrand, she had a son Lewis Crittenden, my Great Grandfather. I am still searching for Lewis's father, but as of now we think it is Jack Crittenden.
