January 9, 2011 - Julia Marlene "Jules" Butler 51, Indianapolis, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011. She was born in Beech Grove, IN on July 8, 1959 to Dr. John and Dr. Martha Butler. Jules was a graduate of Southport High School and had a successful career at Ice Miller Law Firm as a Legal Secretary for 23 years. During her younger years, she enjoyed riding horses and later became an avid collector of ceramic miniature horses. Jules enjoyed her friends, caring for her many pets, and she spent time almost everyday creating beautiful and unique scrapbooks. Her sense of humor could light up a room. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Jennifer A. Walker ; brothers, John, Jerry, Joe, Jim, and Jeff; brother-in-law, Tim Walker; sisters-in-law, Kelly Butler, Cindy Butler and Mary Dillman; 20 nieces and 22 nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. (Hwy 31 South), Indianapolis, IN 46227. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 734 N. Morgantown Road, Greenwood, IN.
