Cassie Wright Anderson Saunders, 76, died of a coronary occlusion Thursday at the family residence.
Born May 6, 1875, in Mill Creek, she was a daughter of John P. and Isabelle Wardle Wright. She was married to Charles Andrew Anderson in Mill Creek in 1893. He died July 5, 1911. A member of 33rd ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. Mrs. Saunders was a Relief Society teacher for 35 years. She was married to John W. Saunders in January 1923 in Salt Lake City. He died in January, 1942.
Surviving are a son, Erwin J. Anderson, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs. Annabella Johnson and Mrs. Alice Cason, both of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Merle Barnhurst, St. George; three stepsons, J. J. Saunders, Ogden; Clarence K. Saunders, Portland, Ore.; and Spencer K. Saunders, San Diego, Cal.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Myrtle K. Johnson, Portland Ore.; 17 grandchildren, a brother, J. H. Wright, Murray, and four sisters, Mrs. Harley Rose, Murray; Mrs. William Bryan, Rigby, Ida.; Mrs. Emma Stewart, Ely, Nev., and Mrs. Rowena Barlow, Pasadena, Cal.
Burial will be in Elysian Burial Gardens.
