Sihon House is the son of Brinkley Warren and Delilah Hartsfield House.
Acording to the Carthage Masonic Records it is believed that he is buried in Old Macedonia. He was born in North Carolina. He married Nancy Tait on 22 Dc 1825, probably in Georgia. They moved from Georgia to Alabama, Louisiana, and then to Texas by 1841 when he received a land grant from the Republic of Texas. In 1948 he was one of two men authorized to do the surveying for the location of the town of Carthage. In 1848 he gave a gift of land to the Macedonia Baptist Church and in 1852 he gave land to the Mt Pisgah Methodist Church for a church and a camp ground.
