MRS. SUSANNA SELL,

Wife of John Sell, died very suddenly at her home on the Shirley farm, near Leamersville, at 2.40 Saturday afternoon, following a stroke of paralysis. She was in good health when she arose Saturday morning and was preparing breakfast, when she was stricken and fell to the floor. Her son summoned a physician, but she soon lapsed into unconsciousness and died at the hour stated. A strange coincidence of the death was that, at the exact time Mrs. Sell passed away Saturday, at the same hour on the preceding day she received the news of the death of her brother, James Isenberg, of Petersburg. Mrs. Sell expected to attend his funeral, held Sunday. During the past year five deaths have occurred among the members of the Isenberg family. The deceased was the daughter of David and Mary Isenberg and was born on her father's farm at Neff Mills, near Petersburg, Dec. 9, 1833. On December 16, 1860, she was united in marriage with John Sell and engaged in housekeeping in the house in which she died. She was a faithful and active member of the Leamersville Church of the Brethren, having united with the church forty years ago. She is mourned by a large circle of friends and is survived by the following: Her husband, four sons, Mayberry of Windber, Lafayette of McKee, Blair, at home, and Brook of near Roaring Spring; two daughters, Mrs. June Brumbaugh of Huntingdon and Mrs. Bertha De Huss of McKee; one brother, William Isenberg of Dayton, O., and four sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Simpson, of Mill Creek, Huntingdon county, Mrs. Rebecca Brunner of Petersburg and Mrs. Ellen Etner and Miss Fannie Isenberg of Mill Creek. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be held in the Church of the Brethren at 9.30 a.m. Tuesday, and will be in charge of Professor W.J. Swigart of Juniata college, assisted by Rev. J.B. Miller. Interment in Riverview at Leamersville.
