Frank N. Coon, 80, of 919 N. Sixth St., was dead on arrival at Methodist Hospital, Peoria, yesterday morning.
Born Feb. 28, 1888, in Weaver, Iowa, son of Charles and Minnie Antleman Coon, he married Louisa Roberts, Dec. 23, 1909. She died April 24, 1968.
He had been on the board of First National Bank of Chillicothe until about one year ago and was one of the organizers of the Peoples Savings and Loan Assn. and a member of its board of Directors. He was formerly a member of the Chillicothe High School Board of Education.
Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
