A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Minnie Holder Gragg.
Mrs. High was a member of Plainview Baptist Church in Dallas and was a member of their senior citizens group. She was retired from Norwest Plastics in Gastonia.
She is survived by her son, Morrisett High and wife, Elizabeth Faye of Dallas; daughters, Linda Brown and husband, Mike of Gastonia, Melanie Yarborough and husband, Larry of Dallas, Christine Renée Robertson and husband, Frank of Dallas; brother, Jessie Arnold Gragg of Fort Mohave, Arizona; nine grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Brandi Lynn Spencer, Larry Dale Yarborough, Crystal Dawn Yarborough, Telenia Renée Shull, Lacey Ann Barron, Nathaniel Dean Frisbee, Lindsay Frisbee, Asheley Fralie; and nineteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clyde F. High; sister, Helen Allen; and brother, Frank Gragg.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in the Dallas Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Hovis officiat-ing.
Burial will be at High Shoals Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
