He was born in Adams County, the son of the late Peter H. and Annie Elizabeth Rockwell Stoner.
He was a security gaurd at the Gettysburg High School and Clllege. He worked for the Gettysburg Rubber Heel and the Summit Mining Company.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert H. Deardorff, Orrtanna; four sisters, Mary Hockey, Gettysburg; Marie Cool, Abbotstown; Grace Kuhn, New Oxford; and Ruth Lartz, York; one brother, Cleason Stoner, New Oxford; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Curtis C. Stoner, 79, of 1853 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, who died Monday will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Peters Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with the Rev. E. Edward Keyser officiating.
Interment will be in Flohr's Church Cemetery.
