Mary H. Donaldson, 87, of Newberry,
Michigan, died Saturday afternoon December 18, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mary Fiebernitz was born September 14, 1923 in Flint, daughter of the late William Fiebernitz and Ilah (McInally) Fiebernitz.
After Ray retired from the United States Postal Service in Lapeer, MI, Mary and Ray ran a convenience store/canoe livery in West Branch, MI before moving to the Upper Peninsula. Curtis was their home for several years before spending time in Florida and Georgia. Newberry became Mary's final resting spot in 2009 to be closer to her family.
In addition to her parents, Mary Donaldson was preceded in death by her husband Ray Donaldson on June 25, 2008 and her sister Doris Ann Pottruff.
Survivors included her son Lee (Joanne) Donaldson of Newberry; grandchildren Kelly (Brian) Lakari of Green Bay, WI, Shelly (Dale) Ray of Phelps, WI, Stephanie (Steve) Harvala and Christy Johnson all of Ishpeming; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
